Water Light Graffiti: Drawing with water
In July 2012 Antonin Fourneau, in collaboration with Digital Art International, created WaterLight Graffiti, an interactive installation that allows people to draw or write with water on a panel made of thousands of LEDs.
The water makes the current pass through the circuit, which provides power to the LED below the surface of the panel.
The public, armed with waters pistols, paintbrushes or water sprays, gives life to their creations, which remain more or less temporary, depending on the amount of water applied to the lights.
The installation is proposed as a new form of interaction with urban architecture and it is from town squares that this form of art started to spread.
WaterLight Graffiti has obtained a great success online and the work has been represented in different cities around the world all through 2013 and early 2014.
